Garage Requests

We know that for many families, having access to a garage can make a big difference.

If you’ve expressed a preference for a garage as part of your housing application, please be aware that we may not always be able to offer a property with a garage at the time of allocation. Garage availability depends on local housing stock and can vary by location.

Under JSP 464 guidelines, garages are not considered a core entitlement and are allocated separately from Service Family Accommodation (SFA). If a garage is not available with your allocated property, your request will be added to the garage waiting list. This list is managed by the relevant allocation team and reviewed as garages become available.

We understand that having a garage may be important to you, and we’ll do our best to meet your preference wherever possible – subject to availability and policy.
